De forme cylindrique sur un soubassement polygonal, la croix se termine par une couronne où sont sculptées, en relief, des scènes de la vie de la Vierge : Annonciation, Nativité, La Vierge et l'Enfant, le Couronnement de la Vierge. Trois contreforts relient la colonne à son soubassement. L'extrémité de l'un s'orne d'une tête de chien ; une autre laisse deviner un moine lisant son bréviaire. Les angles de la partie supérieure sont surmontés de trois chapiteaux.

History
Of cylindrical form on a polygonal base, the cross terminates in a crown where are sculptured, in relief, scenes from the life of the Virgin: the Annunciation, the Nativity, the Virgin and Child, the Coronation of the Virgin. Three buttresses link the column to its base. The extremity of one is adorned with a dog's head; another allows one to discern a monk reading his breviary. The angles of the upper part are surmounted by three capitals.
