History
Granite works from the time of the Duke of Aiguillon, these boundary stones, placed at the start of the main roads, recall the old corvée owed for the maintenance of the royal roads. Of rectangular form, with bevelled angles, they bear on two faces inscriptions indicating the share of maintenance charged to the town mentioned. The boundary stone in question here bears the inscription: "Task of Servel; 1097 toises".
