First church destroyed in 1739, present church built between 1774 and 1784 by CHALGRIN. Some modifications in the 19th century (deambulatory and axial chapel by E.H. GODDE in 1845; chapel of the Catechisms by Victor BALTARD in 1853). Vault of the choir painted by CHASSERIAU in 1855. Claudius JACQUAND for the paintings as well.
