Ensemble remanié par Walter Destailleur, à la demande de Martine-Marie-Pol de Béhague, épouse du comte René de Béarn. Entre 1895 et 1904, le grand hôtel est rasé et une partie du petit est conservée. Initialement prévu dans un style néo-byzantin, le nouvel hôtel est rhabillé en 1904 avec des éléments de l'architecture classique par Destailleur.

History
Ensemble remodelled by Walter Destailleur, at the request of Martine-Marie-Pol de Béhague, wife of comte René de Béarn. Between 1895 and 1904, the large hotel was razed and part of the smaller one was retained. Initially planned in neo-Byzantine style, the new hotel was refaced in 1904 with elements of classical architecture by Destailleur.
