Immeuble à usage d'habitation construit en 1900 par l'architecte et entrepreneur Abel Simonet. Derrière une façade post-haussmannienne convenue, l'édifice comporte deux parties réalisées dans un style Art Nouveau : le hall d'entrée décoré de céramiques polychromes et la salle à manger de l'appartement au premier étage, appartenant à Simonet. Celle-ci renferme un mobilier de bois foncé et un bas-relief à fond doré, signé du menuisier E. Guillaume, montrant deux menuisiers au travail. Sert de secrétariat parisien à De Gaulle.

History
Residential building constructed in 1900 by the architect and builder Abel Simonet. Behind a conventional post-Haussmann façade, the edifice comprises two parts realized in an Art Nouveau style: the entrance hall decorated with polychrome ceramics and the dining room of the first-floor apartment, belonging to Simonet. The latter contains dark wood furnishings and a bas-relief with gilded ground, signed by the carpenter E. Guillaume, showing two carpenters at work. Serves as Paris secretariat for De Gaulle.
