Historique
Théâtre érigé à la fin du 18e siècle par les architectes Peyre et de Wailly sur le terrain de l'hôtel de Condé. Il s'élève sur une place semi-circulaire permettant de transformer l'espace en théâtre de plein air. Victime d'incendies à deux reprises, il fut reconstruit par Chalgrin en 1808, puis par Baraguey en 1818.

Theatre erected at the end of the 18th century by the architects Peyre and de Wailly on the land of the hôtel de Condé.
