Historique
Immeuble de dix étages construit en 1904 pour la maison d'alimentation Félix Potin par l'architecte Paul Auscher (E. Devillette, entrepreneur général). Construit en béton armé, l'édifice comporte les magasins d'approvisionnement et de vente au public, situés dans les deux sous-sols, au rez-de-chaussée et à l'entresol, avec des bureaux et des logements au-dessus. Le décor intérieur a disparu mais les arcatures en rez-de-chaussée conservent leurs formes Art Nouveau et des cartouches revêtus de mosaïque, avec les inscriptions "thé, lunchs, pâtisserie, five o'clock, biscuits, chocolats, confiserie, baptêmes, cacaos, café, parfumerie, brosserie, fruits, poissons de mer et d'eau douce, manutention". La tourelle d'angle est couronnée d'un campanile évidé où se lit toujours le nom de Félix Potin.

History
Building of ten storeys built in 1904 for the Félix Potin food company by architect Paul Auscher (E. Devillette, general contractor). Built in reinforced concrete, the building comprises supply and retail shops, situated on the two basements, on the ground floor and entresol, with offices and dwellings above. The interior decoration has disappeared but the arcades on the ground floor retain their Art Nouveau forms and cartouches faced with mosaic, with the inscriptions "tea, lunches, pastries, five o'clock, biscuits, chocolates, confectionery, christenings, cocoas, coffee, perfumery, brushes, fruit, sea and freshwater fish, handling". The corner turret is crowned with an openwork campanile where the name of Félix Potin is still visible.
