Historique
Hôtel construit entre 1738 et 1744 par l'architecte entrepreneur du Roi Claude Bonneau (l'architecte concepteur étant certainement Jacques Hardouin-Mansart, dit Mansart de Sagonne) et décoré par l'ornemaniste Nicolas Pineau (l'un des représentants les plus importants du style Rocaille). Après divers propriétaires, l'hôtel est vendu en 1841 à Nicolas Mailand qui commande à l'architecte Bonaventure-Amable Ravoisié des travaux d'agrandissement et d'embellissement : dépendances sur rue surélevées dans la seconde moitié du 19e siècle. De la cour, on accède à l'intérieur du logis par une porte centrale, menant directement au grand escalier dont la rampe en ferronnerie (dessinée par Pineau) constitue un travail exceptionnel. Au rez-de-chaussée, le grand salon central a conservé la majeure partie de son décor du 18e siècle. A l'étage, la pièce centrale sur jardin est garnie de lambris Louis XVI sculptés de rangs de perles, d'oves et de feuilles d'acanthe.

History
Hotel built between 1738 and 1744 by the architect and contractor of the King Claude Bonneau (the architect designer being certainly Jacques Hardouin-Mansart, called Mansart de Sagonne) and decorated by the ornamentalist Nicolas Pineau (one of the most important representatives of the Rococo style). After various owners, the hotel was sold in 1841 to Nicolas Mailand who commissioned the architect Bonaventure-Amable Ravoisié to carry out works of enlargement and embellishment: dependencies on the street elevated in the second half of the 19th century. From the courtyard, one accesses the interior of the main dwelling by a central door, leading directly to the grand staircase whose ironwork railing (designed by Pineau) constitutes exceptional work. On the ground floor, the grand central salon has preserved the majority of its 18th-century decoration. On the upper floor, the central room overlooking the garden is fitted with Louis XVI wainscoting carved with rows of pearls, ovolo mouldings and acanthus leaves.
