La fontaine, à l'origine construite dans la cour du marché Saint-Germain, a été transférée allée du Séminaire, en bordure de la rue Bonaparte en 1935.

History
The fountain, with a square plan, is terminated by an entablature ornamented with garlands; on each of the faces, triangular pediment; above the entablature, bas-reliefs with symbolic figures; on the main face, water inlet and series of superposed basins. The fountain, originally built in the courtyard of the Saint-Germain market, was transferred to the allée du Séminaire, along the edge of rue Bonaparte in 1935.
