Maison des Jardies construite avant 1771, modifiée au 19e siècle et habitée par Honoré de Balzac de 1837 à 1840, puis par Léon Gambetta qui l'acquit en 1878 et y mourut en 1882. Monument aménagé en 1892 ; il contenait le coeur de Gambetta, qui a été transféré au Panthéon en 1920. La maison abrite actuellement un musée Gambetta.

History
Maison des Jardies built before 1771, modified in the 19th century and inhabited by Honoré de Balzac from 1837 to 1840, then by Léon Gambetta who acquired it in 1878 and died there in 1882. Monument arranged in 1892; it contained the heart of Gambetta, which was transferred to the Panthéon in 1920. The house currently houses a Gambetta museum.
