Villa construite de 1931 à 1932 par l'architecte André Lurçat pour un couple d'Américains, les Hefferlin. Elle remplace une ancienne villa datant de 1830, dont une aile est intégrée à la nouvelle construction. Devenue propriété du couturier Raphaël Lopez, elle est transformée par l'architecte Jean-Charles Moreux, vers 1938, en "grande salle espagnole". Un nouveau mobilier remplace celui sorti des ateliers des frères Thonet ; la "cour jardin" est redessinée avec des parterres et des fontaines géométriques.

History
Villa built from 1931 to 1932 by architect André Lurçat for a couple of Americans, the Hefferlins. It replaced an old villa dating from 1830, one wing of which was integrated into the new construction. Having become the property of fashion designer Raphaël Lopez, it was transformed by architect Jean-Charles Moreux, around 1938, into a "great Spanish hall". New furniture replaced that which had come from the workshops of the Thonet brothers; the "garden courtyard" was redrawn with geometric flower beds and fountains.
