Depuis 1390, la ferme de Chateaupers servit plus d'une fois de refuge aux familles du voisinage, à l'époque des guerres qui affligèrent la région. Au 16ème siècle, la ferme fut apportée en dot au seigneur du Marias, par la fille des châtelains de Villeconin. Une tapisserie, conservée au Musée de Cluny, et un portrait au crayon conservé au Cabinet des Estampes la représente. C'est sous le vocable de « Dame de Chateaupers » qu'elle est désignée dans la collection des portraits au crayon de la Bibliothèque Nationale. History
Since 1390, the farm of Chateaupers served more than once as a refuge for neighbouring families, at the time of the wars that afflicted the region. In the 16th century, the farm was brought as a dowry to the lord of Marias, by the daughter of the châtelains of Villeconin. A tapestry, preserved in the Musée de Cluny, and a pencil portrait preserved in the Cabinet des Estampes depict her. It is under the name of "Dame de Chateaupers" that she is designated in the collection of pencil portraits of the Bibliothèque Nationale. Currently, the farm of Chateaupers still forms part of the lands of Marais.
