Château reconstruit au 16e siècle sur l'emplacement d'un édifice médiéval. Remanié aux 17e et 18e siècles. A la Révolution, le domaine est vendu comme bien national et en partie incendié (subsistent l'aile nord et une tour). A la fin du 19e siècle, le peintre Berne-Bellecour puis le musicien Jules Massenet font d'importants travaux.

History
Château rebuilt in the 16th century on the site of a medieval building. Remodelled in the 17th and 18th centuries. At the Revolution, the estate is sold as national property and partly burned (the north wing and a tower remain). At the end of the 19th century, the painter Berne-Bellecour then the musician Jules Massenet undertake major work.
