Remplaçant un premier établissement de bains douches datant de 1908, créé pour profiter des eaux tièdes (28 degrés) d'un puits artésien foré à partir de 1866, la piscine actuelle est construite de 1922 à 1924 par Louis Bonnier, architecte de la ville. Associé à des bains douches situés dans le même bâtiment, et utilisant toujours l'eau "artésienne" (pompée de nos jours) , le bassin de natation est couvert de sept arches en béton armé. La façade sur la place est en brique et la tour abrite un escalier. La piscine a été réhabilitée par l'architecte Johanna Fourquier en 1991.

History
Replacing a first bathing establishment dating from 1908, created to take advantage of the lukewarm waters (28 degrees) from an artesian well drilled from 1866, the present-day swimming pool was constructed from 1922 to 1924 by Louis Bonnier, architect to the city. Associated with bathing facilities located in the same building, and still using "artesian" water (pumped nowadays), the swimming basin is covered with seven arches in reinforced concrete. The façade facing the square is in brick and the tower houses a staircase. The swimming pool was rehabilitated by architect Johanna Fourquier in 1991.
