Historique
Hôtel construit entre quai et cour, parfois attribué, sans preuve, à Louis II Le Vau ou Pierre Le Muet et qui appartint à Thomas de Comans, conseiller du Roi. Sa distribution intérieure fut modifiée au 18e siècle. Le corps de logis principal est traversé par un large couloir donnant accès à la cour et formant un vaste vestibule cantonné de colonnes doriques. Le grand escalier d'honneur a été remanié et a perdu sa rampe d'origine. Seuls subsistent quatre bas-reliefs attribués à Van Obstal.

History
Hôtel constructed between quay and courtyard, sometimes attributed, without proof, to Louis II Le Vau or Pierre Le Muet and which belonged to Thomas de Comans, Councillor to the King. Its interior layout was modified in the 18th century. The main dwelling is traversed by a wide corridor giving access to the courtyard and forming a vast vestibule flanked by Doric columns. The grand staircase has been altered and has lost its original balustrade. Only four bas-reliefs attributed to Van Obstal remain.
