History
The main structure of the building dates from the 17th century but was refaced in the 19th century. It is said to have retained its wrought-iron balconies. The building preserves on the 1st floor a sign dating from the First Empire A la Renommée. It is a wooden sculpture representing a renown inscribed in a frame of ropes and marine knots which evoke a rope merchant.
