Hôtel édifié pour son propre usage par Tannevot, architecte du roi, rival de Blondel, sur le lotissement de l'ancien hôtel du maréchal de Luxembourg, à partir de 1741. Si les dispositions d'origine du jardin ont disparu, l'emprise du 18e siècle a été conservée. Une belle cage d'escalier à jour central est éclairée de larges fenêtres aux menuiseries conservées ou refaites à l'identique (marches de pierre puis de chêne et tommettes, sol dallé de pierre au rez-de-chaussée et de marbre blanc à bouchons noirs sur les paliers, rampe en fer forgé d'aspect un peu postérieur).

History
Hôtel built for his own use by Tannevot, architect to the king, rival of Blondel, on the subdivision of the former hôtel of the marshal de Luxembourg, from 1741 onwards. If the original arrangements of the garden have disappeared, the 18th-century extent has been preserved. A fine open central staircase is lit by large windows with preserved or identically remade joinery (stone then oak steps and tomette tiles, stone-flagged flooring on the ground floor and white marble with black spots on the landings, wrought-iron railing of somewhat later appearance).
