Cette institution, créée en 1807 par Napoléon 1er, a longtemps été installée dans le Palais d'Orsay. Ce dernier ayant été incendié en 1871, on prévoit de reconstruire sur le même site, mais la Cour des Comptes est finalement installée à l'emplacement du couvent des Dames de l'Assomption de la rue Cambon, dont la chapelle subsiste toujours. Les bâtiments sont élevés à partir de 1898 par l'architecte Constant Moyaux, et ne sont achevés qu'en 1910. En 1967, un nouvel immeuble est ajouté sur la rue Saint-Honoré. History
This institution, created in 1807 by Napoleon 1st, was long housed in the Palais d'Orsay.
