History
Constructed between 1704 and 1709, this former barracks is virtually the only intact one of the four large barracks which each housed a regiment. It has in fact lost a non-commissioned officers' pavilion at one end, whilst the other was transformed at the late 19th century, at the time when the building housed a preparatory school for non-commissioned officers.
