History
This building is characteristic of the German Renaissance (second half of the 16th and first half of the 17th century) and evokes in particular, with its gable with curved ramps adorned with wings and obelisks, the west wing of the Maison de l'Œuvre Notre-Dame in Strasbourg, erected from 1578 to 1585, and the Maison des Têtes in Colmar, completed in 1609, two buildings already classified. Its interest is enhanced by the presence of stuccoed ceilings decorated with heads and vegetable motifs, uncovered a few months ago on the second storey.
