La tour d'angle sud-est des anciennes fortifications, demeure seule, parfaitement visible et reste, relativement, bien conservée. Sa hauteur actuelle est d'environ 9 m, son diamètre d'environ 11 m. Construction en grès rouge des Vosges, dont la partie inférieure se compose de pierres de taille à bossages, la partie supérieur de moellons aux assises irrégulières. Au-dessous du parapet, corniche à grande gorge ; gargouilles, de forme simple. Vers l'ouest, s'ouvrent deux embrasures, vers l'est, trois embrasures, à ébrasements en gradins ; derrière elles sont ménagées des niches. Dans la partie inférieure de la Tour, l'épaisseur du mur est d'environ 3 m ; dans la partie supérieure, d'environ 2 m 45. La partie supérieure de la Tour forme plate-forme. A l'intérieur, voûte en forme de calotte, construite en moellons.
