History
Considered one of the oldest of its kind in Alsace, the screw press of Goxwiller bears the inscription 1669 L.H. The balonge, rectangular wooden vat, has a bottom (the maie) for the reception of the grapes and a walnut screw allows the grape juice to be obtained.
