Historique

History
This small building is founded around 1135, then integrated into a larger priory complex and restored in 1485. From 1715, the site and its chapel are profoundly transformed and, around 1717, a wooden altar in baroque style, dedicated to the Virgin and Saint Bartholomew, is installed in the chapel whose decoration is entirely renewed (stucco, stauary, ceilings). After the signing of the Concordat, the chapel is integrated into the parish of Mollkirch, created in 1802. On a descriptive plan, the Kloesterlé is not oriented. Its polygonal chevet with four bays develops to the northeast, the Romanesque remains are especially grouped to the southeast, the Gothic remains are preserved in the choir and outside, on the west side. Of elongated plan, the chapel consists of a single nave and a semi-circular choir. The triumphal arch in round arch is dated 1720.
