Historique

History
Feudal motte from the 11th century, the present manor was built in the 16th century. It then consisted of a rectangular main dwelling and a west corner tower. It was enlarged in the 17th century then internally remodeled in the 18th century and retouched from 1800 to 1807. The property, essentially viticultural, was divided up at the Revolution and the vines uprooted in the 20th century. The ramparts of the castle motte survive on the north-west and south-west sides. The castle is a rectangular building. A building was attached against the former north-west façade and caused the projection of the square tower at the west corner to disappear. The ground floor was established over a half-sunken cellar. It retains wainscoting as well as a 19th-century chimney made with press screws. In the tower, a wooden staircase leads to the first floor (18th-century graffiti) and to the roof space under the roof structure. Near the main dwelling stand the barn and the wine vat, in pebbles and courses of bricks. Facing the south-east façade, an ex-voto from Lourdes is set into a small wall.
