Historique
Ancienne église en grande partie reconstruite vers 1640. Le clocher fut exhaussé en 1765. Sous la Terreur, l'édifice fut complètement ravagé pour être un peu plus tard réparé et rendu au culte. Le clocher carré s'élève à l'ouest au-dessus d'un porche abritant une porte cloutée, à vantaux de bois, sous des voussures plein cintre. Comme sur la plupart des édifices basques, la façade sud comporte un cadran solaire, daté de 1714. Une seule nef occupe tout l'espace intérieur. Trois étages de galeries à balustres de bois tourné et décorées des motifs régionaux habituels s'accrochent sur trois côtés. Au-dessus règne une voûte surbaissée, en lattis de bois, repeinte vers 1877 d'illusions gothiques. L'église se situe sur le chemin de Compostelle.

History
Former church largely rebuilt around 1640. The bell tower was raised in 1765. Under the Terror, the building was completely ravaged to be a little later repaired and returned to worship. The square bell tower rises to the west above a porch sheltering a nailed door, with wooden panels, under round-arch voussoirs. As on most Basque buildings, the south façade comprises a sundial, dated 1714. A single nave occupies the entire interior space. Three tiers of galleries with turned wooden balusters and decorated with the usual regional motifs hang on three sides. Above rules a depressed vault, in a wooden lattice, repainted around 1877 with Gothic illusions. The church is located on the Way of Compostelle.
