Historique
Un hôpital, ancienne commanderie, accueillait au Moyen Age les pèlerins qui se rendaient vers Compostelle par ce chemin secondaire. L'église de plan en croix grecque et terminée par une abside à pans coupés, présente un style transitoire entre le 11e et le 12e siècle. History
A hospital, former commandery, welcomed in the Middle Ages pilgrims making their way to Compostela by this secondary route. The church of Greek cross plan and terminated by an apse with cut angles, presents a transitional style between the 11th and 12th centuries. The entrance door is framed by engaged columns, alternated with pillars with capitals. The tympanum is adorned with a Christ in Majesty surrounded by the tetramorph. The main façade ends with a square tower with a sloping roof or two gables. A dome with double storey and octagonal form, terminated by a campanile, rises at the centre of the transept. On the interior, the crossing of the transept is separated from its two arms, from the choir and from the nave by four large pointed arches with double moulding carried by pillars.
