L'origine de la maison d'Arros est ancienne et déjà mentionnée en 1097. Le château présente un grand corps de bâtiment comprenant un rez-de-chaussée sur caves, et deux étages. A ce corps principal ont été ajoutées en équerre deux ailes : l'aile ouest encadrée par deux tourelles au 18e siècle ; l'aile ouest avec une tour d'angle polygonale au milieu du 19e siècle. La porte Est donne accès à un vaste salon dont les boiseries et les poutres apparentes sont peintes de motifs décoratifs. A proximité de la demeure s'élève le bâtiment des anciennes écuries. Plus loin, un pigeonnier rond est tapissé de quelques centaines de boulins. Dans le parc, au sud-est, l'orangerie a été entièrement remontée.

History
The origins of the house of Arros are ancient and already mentioned in 1097. The castle presents a large building comprising a ground floor over cellars, and two storeys. To this main body were added at right angles two wings: the western wing framed by two turrets in the 18th century; the western wing with a polygonal corner tower in the middle of the 19th century. The East door gives access to a vast drawing room whose woodwork and exposed beams are painted with decorative motifs. Near the residence stands the building of the former stables. Further away, a round dovecote is lined with several hundred nesting boxes. In the park, to the south-east, the orangery has been entirely reassembled.
