Témoin régional essentiel de la transition entre le Moyen Age et la Renaissance. Construit vers 1480 par Vincent Bilhonis, vicaire général de l'évéché d'Agen, la demeure, juchée sur une colline, comporte divers bâtiments disposés autour d'une cour fermée. Le corps de logis conserve, à l'intérieur, des éléments intéressants (salles voûtées...). Légué aux Annonciades pour la création d'un noviciat, le bâtiment, occupé par les Huguenots, fut canonné, pris et brûlé par les troupes du maréchal de Biron, qui massacrèrent la garnison en 1580. A la Révolution, les symboles de l'Ancien Régime y furent démolis.

History
Essential regional witness to the transition between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Built around 1480 by Vincent Bilhonis, vicar general of the bishopric of Agen, the dwelling, perched on a hill, comprises various buildings arranged around a closed courtyard. The main dwelling retains, in its interior, interesting elements (vaulted chambers...). Bequeathed to the Annonciades for the creation of a novitiate, the building, occupied by the Huguenots, was cannonaded, taken and burned by the troops of the marshal de Biron, who massacred the garrison in 1580. At the Revolution, the symbols of the Ancien Régime were demolished there.
