Le château-moulin de Ferrussac, d'abord propriété de l'abbaye de Saint-Maurin, passa dès 1452 entre les mains de seigneurs laïcs. Le noyau primitif, donjon et logis des 14e-15e siècles, s'agrandit au 16e siècle de la construction d'un pavillon-chapelle et d'une enceinte contre laquelle vinrent s'appuyer divers bâtiments érigés ou reconstruits du 17e au 19e siècle. Ce moulin, qui conserve extérieurement son aspect de maison forte, est un édifice ceint de douves et se compose de divers bâtiments disposés autour d'une cour.

History
The castle-mill of Ferrussac, initially property of the abbey of Saint-Maurin, passed into the hands of lay lords from 1452 onwards. The primitive nucleus, keep and main dwelling of the 14th-15th centuries, was enlarged in the 16th century by the construction of a pavilion-chapel and an enclosure against which various buildings erected or rebuilt from the 17th to the 19th century came to rest. This mill, which retains externally its appearance as a fortified house, is a building surrounded by moats and is composed of various structures arranged around a courtyard.
