La partie du côté rue présente deux ouvertures pour couleuvrines et une ouverture romane sous le toit coiffé en pyramide sans doute au 17e siècle. La partie donnant sur les remparts était fortifiée par une bretèche et des archères, ainsi que des ouvertures pour couleuvrines. La partie supérieure de la tour paraît avoir été remontée au 17e siècle.

History
The part on the street side has two openings for gun-ports and a Romanesque opening under the roof topped with a pyramid roof presumably in the 17th century. The part giving onto the ramparts was fortified by a bretèche and arrow-slits, as well as openings for gun-ports. The upper part of the tower appears to have been rebuilt in the 17th century.
