L'enceinte de la ville est isolée par un fossé du côté de la gorge, où s'ouvrait l'unique porte. Un petit château du 15e siècle, en ruine, défendait ce côté, le plus accessible. History
The town enclosure is isolated by a ditch on the side of the gorge, where the sole gateway opened. A small 15th-century castle, in ruins, defended this side, the most accessible. It probably replaced an older structure. A building opened to the east by a gateway with a defensive gatehouse and passage between two buildings. The keep, square in form, was isolated in the courtyard. It is pierced, on its west face, by a gateway surmounted by an opening in pointed arch. A building formed the angle of the east and south faces and represents the postern entrance. Excavations made in the keep revealed burials dug in the form of a human body, possibly dating from the 10th or 11th century.
