Commencé en 1765 pour Emmanuel Armand Duplessis-Richelieu, duc d'Aiguillon, sur les plan de l'architecte Leroy, le château n'a jamais été achevé. Les façades sont percées de baies rectangulaires encadrées de chambranles moulurés. Les trumeaux portent une table saillante. Le fronton de la façade postérieure est décoré d'un groupe sculpté par Roger, figurant le Lot et la Garonne. L'intérieur fut dévasté en 1792.

History
Begun in 1765 for Emmanuel Armand Duplessis-Richelieu, Duke of Aiguillon, on the plans of architect Leroy, the castle was never completed. It comprises only part of the main building and the left wing of the courtyard of honour. The right wing was never executed. The façades are pierced with rectangular openings framed by moulded chamfers. The piers bear a prominent table. The pediment of the rear façade is decorated with a group sculpted by Roger, representing the Lot and the Garonne. The interior was devastated in 1792.
