Comme d'autres églises romanes de cette région, celle de Belhade possède une haute abside suivie d'une nef basse et d'un clocher accolé d'une tourelle ronde d'escalier. La nef est d'une seule travée à voûte surbaissée. Au nord, un bas-côté, simple chapelle seigneuriale à l'origine, a été prolongé par une travée moderne. L'arc triomphal à deux rouleaux ouvre sur un choeur polygonal. Celui-ci est voûté de grands arcs d'ogives reliés par un gros pendentif. History
Like other Romanesque churches in this region, that of Belhade possesses a high apse followed by a low nave and a bell tower adjoined by a round staircase turret. The nave is a single bay with a depressed vault. To the north, an aisle, originally a simple seigneurial chapel, has been extended by a modern bay. The triumphal arch with two rolls opens onto a polygonal choir. The latter is vaulted with great ribs arches connected by a large pendant boss. These arches rest on corbels sculptured with human and animal figures, as well as foliage. The Romanesque portal, constructed of red stones, and protected by an outer porch, presents three archivoltes formed of a large torus and two of which rest on columns by means of sculptured capitals. A three-opening porch tower adjoined by a round staircase turret forms the facade of the building.
