History
Church mentioned as early as 1215, but retaining remains of a pre-Romanesque building on the north flank of the nave. Chevet and façade of the 12th century. The nave is coffered, but the springing of rib vaults suggests that vaulting was planned at the end of the Gothic period. The two Romanesque capitals of one of the bell loopholes of the bell tower seem to indicate that the latter, contemporary with the western façade, received no subsequent modifications. The aisle is dated to the late Gothic period. The sculpted tympanum depicts Adam and Eve near the Tree of Knowledge, the apostles Peter, Paul and James as pilgrims, and two pilgrims of Compostela.
