Historique

History
The original castle stood three kilometres to the south-west. It was, originally, a feudal motte which enlarged in the Middle Ages to transform at the Renaissance and gradually disappear. Louis Victor built the present building. Access is guarded by two ruined pavilions of the 17th century. It comprises a central main dwelling flanked at its extremities by a pavilion. Two small low buildings extend the pavilions to the south, of which one to the east contains a small chapel. Buildings for outbuildings follow them, thus closing the sides of the courtyard and giving the whole the form of a U. The south façade presents at its centre a slight projection in which opens the door at the top of the perron. The north face presents the same central projection but more projecting and with rounded angles. Inside the main dwelling, the rooms have retained their period woodwork.
