Bâti par le marquis de Saint-Marc, collectionneur, pour y loger sa galerie de tableaux. Sur la cour d'honneur s'ouvre un porche d'entrée circulaire engagé à moitié dans la construction et dont le dôme en pierre est soutenu par dix colonnes, dont quatre isolées. Ce porche ouvre sur un vestibule intérieur précédant la grande salle d'exposition et deux logements entresolés situés en avant, à droite et à gauche de la salle. Cette grande salle donne sur le jardin par une façade ornée d'une colonnade de quatre colonnes dégagées surmontées d'un entablement. La construction est élevée sur cinq marches au-dessus d'un sous-sol voûté dans lequel étaient installées la cuisine et les annexes.

History
Built by the marquis de Saint-Marc, collector, to house his picture gallery. On the court of honour opens a circular entrance porch engaged halfway into the construction and whose stone dome is supported by ten columns, four of which are isolated. This porch opens onto an interior vestibule preceding the great exhibition hall and two entresol dwellings located in front, to the right and left of the hall. This great hall opens onto the garden by a façade ornamented with a colonnade of four free columns surmounted by an entablature. The construction is raised on five steps above a vaulted basement in which were installed the kitchen and annexes.
