Hôtel construit par Abraham Gradis, armateur israélite bordelais. Cet édifice est un spécimen de l'architecture du milieu du 18e siècle. Le rez-de-chaussée en est occupé par des boutiques. History
Hotel built by Abraham Gradis, Bordeaux Jewish ship owner. This building is a specimen of mid-18th century architecture. The ground floor is occupied by shops. The monumental door in woodwork with knocker and imposte in ironwork presents a surround underlined by mouldings having at the centre a shell. The cornice surmounting the door rests on consoles decorated with mascaron heads. The openings of the facade on the cours are separated by flat pilasters with Ionic capitals, which terminate at the flat band surmounting the openings of the second storey. At the centre, triangular pediment lit by an oculus and decorated with putti with foliage and waves. Mascaron heads at the windows of the first storey or shells decorated with bales of cotton or barrels.
