Historique
La paroisse dépendait de l'abbaye de Vertheuil. L'église conserve son abside du 12e siècle. Le reste a été entièrement détruit au 19e siècle et reconstruit avec clocher surmonté d'une flèche. L'abside, semi-ciruclaire à l'intérieur, présente cinq pans à l'extérieur. A la naissance du choeur, deux tourelles pleines servaient autrefois de contreforts. Les chapiteaux des colonnes s'ornent de feuillages ou d'animaux fantastiques. A l'extérieur, les angles saillants du polygone disparaissent sous des faisceaux de trois colonnes engagées, celle du milieu se terminant par un chapiteau. L'étage supérieur est composé de fenêtres géminées aveugles, avec une colonnette au centre et quatre colonnettes latérales. Deux des chapiteaux sont en marbre et appartiennent à l'ordre corinthien, vestiges sans doute d'un monument antique.

History
The parish depended on the abbey of Vertheuil. The church preserves its apse from the 12th century. The rest was entirely destroyed in the 19th century and rebuilt with a bell tower surmounted by a spire. The apse, semi-circular on the interior, presents five sides on the exterior. At the junction of the choir, two solid turrets formerly served as buttresses. The capitals of the columns are decorated with foliage or fantastic animals. On the exterior, the projecting angles of the polygon disappear under bundles of three engaged columns, the middle one ending in a capital. The upper storey is composed of blind twin windows, with a colonnette at the centre and four lateral colonnettes. Two of the capitals are in marble and belong to the Corinthian order, vestiges perhaps of an antique monument.
