Historique

History
Vintner's cabin, with dovecote. Circular edifice with straight load-bearing wall. Conical roof with square ridge tile. Rectangular entrance to the south, with monolithic lintel. Inside, circular cell surmounted by a corbelled vault. Seven nesting holes are distributed around the perimeter and two openings were made to allow access to the pigeons. ££Ethnographic testimony, the cabins appear to have been built in majority in the 19th century, and cannot be earlier than the 17th century. These constructions appear to be linked to viticultural activity. According to testimony, the cabin served as temporary shelter for a meal, during a shower or for rest. The mule, donkey or horse could stay there.
