Prieuré nommé comme une dépendance de l'abbaye de la Grande Saure dans la bulle de confirmation de ses privilèges, donnée par Calixte III en 1387. L'édifice présente deux tours, l'une barlongue, l'autre carrée. Celle-ci, élevée sur l'inter-transept, a conservé, au premier étage de sa face orientale, deux fenêtres cintrées du 12e siècle dont les archivoltes reposent sur des chapiteaux sculptés. La porte s'ouvre à l'ouest, dans la tour de façade. Du côté droit, porte à arc brisé ouverte au 13e siècle. Le choeur est terminé par un mur droit du 15e siècle. L'inter-transept carré est cantonné de quatre piliers à coins rabattus, reliés par des arcs légèrement ogivaux, surmontés d'une coupole.

History
Priory named as a dependency of the abbey of la Grande Saure in the bull of confirmation of its privileges, given by Calixtus III in 1387. The building presents two towers, one oblong, the other square. The latter, raised over the inter-transept, has retained, on the first storey of its eastern face, two round arch windows of the 12th century whose archivolts rest on sculptured capitals. The door opens to the west, in the façade tower. On the right side, a pointed arch door opened in the 13th century. The choir is terminated by a straight wall of the 15th century. The square inter-transept is cantonned with four pillars with chamfered corners, connected by slightly pointed arches, surmounted by a dome.
