Grésignac dépendait, jusqu'au 15e siècle, de la châtellenie d'Auberoche et son seigneur, Bernard de Gréziniac, nommé par le duc d'Anjou en 1372 "commissaire réformateur", resta fidèle au roi de France malgré l'occupation d'Auberoche par les Anglais durant la guerre de Cent ans. En 1376, il accompagna Du Guesclin à son entrée à Périgueux. History
Grésignac was dependent, until the 15th century, on the châtelleny of Auberoche and its lord, Bernard de Gréziniac, appointed by the Duke of Anjou in 1372 "reform commissioner", remained loyal to the King of France despite the occupation of Auberoche by the English during the Hundred Years' War.
