Cet hôtel fut bâti au 16e siècle, probablement par un membre de la famille de Gisson dont les aînés, depuis Charles IX, ont possédé des charges au Présidial de Sarlat. L'ensemble se compose de deux corps de bâtiments soudés par une tour d'escalier hexagonale. Une terrasse d'inégale hauteur s'étend au devant de ce corps de logis, agrémentée d'une grille en fer forgé. La tour d'escalier a conservé sa porte d'entrée avec un arc en anse de panier, surmonté d'un arc en accolade, supportés par des colonnettes. Des pinacles et un chou frisé complétaient à l'origine la décoration.

History
This hotel was built in the 16th century, probably by a member of the de Gisson family whose eldest members, since Charles IX, held posts at the Présidial of Sarlat. The whole consists of two bodies of building joined by a hexagonal staircase tower. A terrace of unequal height extends in front of this main dwelling, adorned with wrought ironwork. The staircase tower has retained its entrance door with a segmental arch, surmounted by an ogee arch, supported by small columns. Pinnacles and a curled cabbage completed the decoration originally.
