Construit au 16e siècle sur les lieux où serait né Saint-Waast, catéchiste de Clovis, le château a subi d'importantes restaurations vers 1875. Il comprend un corps de logis barlong, flanqué aux quatre angles de tours rondes, et auquel est soudé un bâtiment carré. Sur celui-ci s'appuient une tour ronde, la courtine du pont-levis qui permet l'accès à la terrasse, et une tour carrée. Un chemin de ronde à mâchicoulis et meurtrières fait le tour complet du château.

History
Built in the 16th century on the site where Saint-Waast, catechist of Clovis, was said to have been born, the castle underwent major restoration around 1875. It comprises an oblong main dwelling, flanked at the four corners by round towers, to which is joined a square building. Upon this lean a round tower, the curtain wall of the drawbridge which allows access to the terrace, and a square tower. A parapet with machicolations and loopholes runs all around the castle.
