History
Since prehistoric times, the site has successively been occupied by a Gallo-Roman villa and a medieval castle. Situated on the border of the Isle, the château was entirely rebuilt in 1818 on the site of medieval remains. Of the old state, only the chapel built in 1435 subsists. The edifice has undergone no modifications since, and bears witness to the architecture and decoration of the beginning of the 19th century. The domain also comprises a park attributed to the landscape architect Bülher, as well as a medieval chapel.
