L'église a sans doute été construite à l'époque romane, du moins selon la forme plein cintre de son portail, seul reste de cette époque. Elle dut alors être un modeste édifice à une seule nef dont il ne reste plus que la façade et, peut-être, le mur latéral nord ouvert au 15e siècle pour l'adjonction d'une seconde nef. L'ancienne voûte a été remplacée par deux travées de voûtes d'arête et le sanctuaire, dont le côté nord semble subsister, a été reconstruit à la même époque et voûté de la même façon.

History
The church was undoubtedly built in the Romanesque period, at least according to the round arch form of its portal, the only remaining example of that period. It must then have been a modest single-nave edifice of which there remain only the façade and, perhaps, the north lateral wall opened in the 15th century for the addition of a second nave. The old vault was replaced by two bays of groin vaults and the sanctuary, whose north side appears to subsist, was rebuilt at the same period and vaulted in the same way.
