Historique
L'église est mentionnée en 1263 dans une charte de donation. De cette église primitive il reste peu de choses, l'ensemble ayant été remonté et un bas-côté ajouté au 14e siècle. L'édifice comporte une nef à deux travées, suivie d'une travée de choeur et d'un choeur, avec un bas-côté nord. De plan carré, la travée de choeur comportait peut-être une coupole à l'origine. Le bas-côté était, à l'origine, voûté d'ogives, comme l'indiquent les départs d'arcs qui retombaient en pénétration sur des colonnettes engagées. Dans la première travée de ce bas-côté se trouve, dans l'épaisseur du mur, l'escalier à vis menant au clocher, éclairé par un oculus quadrilobé. Un massif clocher quadrangulaire, épaulé de quatre hauts contreforts d'angle, constitue la façade. Son sommet a été remonté au 17e siècle.

History
The church is mentioned in 1263 in a charter of donation. From this original church little remains, the whole having been rebuilt and an aisle added in the 14th century. The building comprises a nave with two bays, followed by a choir bay and a choir, with a north aisle. Of square plan, the choir bay may have originally had a dome. The aisle was originally vaulted with ribs, as indicated by the springing of arcs which fell back in penetration on engaged colonnettes. In the first bay of this aisle is found, within the thickness of the wall, the spiral staircase leading to the bell tower, lit by a quatrefoil oculus. A massive square bell tower, buttressed by four tall corner buttresses, forms the façade. Its top was rebuilt in the 17th century.
