Historique
Restes de la citadelle bâtie au 13e siècle, ce donjon circulaire présente une coupole à chaque étage. Pris deux fois par les Anglais en 1336 et 1426. Il fut ceinturé de remparts au 16e siècle. Coligny s'y installa en 1569 et il était à l'état de ruine bien avant la Révolution. La tour reste un témoignage de l'architecture militaire du 13e siècle.

History
Remains of the citadel built in the 13th century, this circular keep presents a dome at each floor. Taken twice by the English in 1336 and 1426. It was surrounded by ramparts in the 16th century. Coligny settled there in 1569 and it was already in a state of ruin well before the Revolution. The tower remains a testimony to military architecture of the 13th century.
