The castle is a typical example of a Gascon gentleman's residence of the late 15th century. This building is raised according to the traditional plan: a rectangular building composed of a central staircase and four large halls arranged on either side, is flanked by four large towers placed at the corners, moats defending its access. The external elevation is intact of all alterations. The facades between the towers are pierced by windows with mullions. To the south, a bridge crossing the moats provides access to the entrance door, of style slightly later than the whole, no doubt remade in the 16th century. A motif of two superposed pilasters and cornices frames the door and its lintel surmounted by a scrollwork decoration. In the towers, gun embrasures have been opened. The whole is girdled, above the first floor, by a parapet walk forming machicolations. The foot of the roof extends above this parapet in order to protect the defenders from plunging fire. On the ground floor, a large hall retains, on the ceiling, remains of painting. Joinery of the 16th century. Woodwork of the 17th and 18th centuries. The chestnut roof structures are from the 15th century.
