Historique
Eglise du début du 12e siècle dont les dispositions du plan la rattacheraient plutôt aux traditions de l'Angonnais qu'à celles du Périgord. Elle se compose d'une nef et d'un transept, la croisée supportant le clocher étant couverte d'une coupole polygonale. La nef se termine par une abside demi-circulaire voûtée en cul de four. Deux absidioles s'ouvrent également sur les deux bras du transept. Ces absidioles aussi bien que l'abside principale, sont précédées de travées droites formant avant-choeur et communiquant entre elles par des passages en plein cintre. Les colonnettes des fenêtres de l'abside et des absidioles, ainsi que celles de la porte d'entrée, comportent des chapiteaux sculptés. L'escalier menant au clocher est contenu dans un avant-corps carré construit à l'intersection de la nef et du transept sud.

History
Church of the early 12th century whose plan dispositions would link it rather to the traditions of Angonnais than to those of Périgord. It consists of a nave and a transept, the crossing supporting the bell tower being covered with a polygonal dome. The nave terminates in a semi-circular apse vaulted in the form of a cul-de-four. Two apsidioles also open onto the two arms of the transept. These apsidioles as well as the main apse are preceded by straight bays forming a choir vestibule and communicating with each other by passages with round arches. The colonnettes of the windows of the apse and apsidioles, as well as those of the entrance door, have sculptured capitals. The staircase leading to the bell tower is contained in a square pavilion built at the intersection of the nave and the south transept.
