History
Romanesque church fortified at the end of the Middle Ages with turrets and machicolations. At the south angle of the chevet, corbelled projections were to support a watch turret. Two staircases concealed in the walls and having their entrance two metres from the ground, one of which leads to the platform above the chevet, which permits surveillance of the surroundings. The other leads onto the vault of the nave where the roof structure forms an immense vessel able to shelter a large multitude. Romanesque portal with scalloped voussure. Rectangular chevet.
